SEBASTIAN AXEL

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

After a decade in AAA development, with credits including Still Wakes The Deep, Total War: Warhammer III, Overcooked, Helldivers 2 and Stellar Blade, I stepped away to build something from the ground up. The Goblin Workshop is a return to my roots, inspired by the Japanese action RPGs that made me want to create games in the first place.

When I’m not making games, I front the goth rock band INTO THE DARK or disappear up mountains.

Fave games: Kingdom Hearts 2, Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, Nier: Automata, Dragon Quest 8 and Yakuza 0

CARA BROWN

LEAD CHARACTER ARTIST

Starting out as a published comic artist/writer, fuelled by passion for visual storytelling, I took the leap into game art and began my journey at The Goblin Workshop.

3D modelling started off as just a hobby, but quickly became one of my most significant passions. I just have to create cool stuff no matter what.

When I'm not 3D modelling I'm making comics and performing on stage with my band.

Fav games: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Yakuza 0, Kameo, Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, Resident Evil: Requiem.

JASMINE G.CRAWSHAW

LEAD WRITER

I have written for a variety of mediums, including published short stories, comics, and indie video games. I joined The Goblin Workshop because of its unflinching dedication to telling unique stories rooted in UK experiences while drawing inspiration from classic JRPG traditions.

When I am not writing for games, I am usually playing them. I also enjoy composing music, practicing martial arts and reading and studying various literatures, histories and cultures.

Favourite games: Witcher 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Elden Ring, Hades & Super Smash Bros.
